Sometimes, I'm mistakenly called a professional matchmaker. That's not what I do. What I do is teach single men and women to become their own successful matchmakers. I aim to empower and inspire my clients, so they can confidently take their love lives from good to great.
My advice is pragmatic and no-nonsense, since we both want results quickly, but the insights gained in the short-term can have a lasting impact - long after my involvement ends.
THE 'DATING DOCTOR'
Every client is unique, so my approach is individually tailored and wide-reaching in scope. I often draw from studies in the fields of biology, psychology, marketing, genetics, human sexuality - even quantum physics - and apply these to dating scenarios. The Daily Telegraph called me 'The Dating Doctor', and in a way, that's true.
But it's not all theory - and finding a soulmate is more than profiling and ticking boxes. It's as much about helping clients to clarify their own relationship patterns and goals, so they can better present themselves and attract the right type of person. At the same time, we work together to increase overall dating opportunities, by harnessing the internet, and maximising other activities. And if dating situations get muddled or tricky, having an unbiased steer from an objective expert can save valuable time and heartache - vs. the kind of advice you'll get from friends or family.
Unlike many relationship advisors, my professional skills are underpinned by first-hand experience. As a former international marketing consultant, I found myself single again in my late 40's, and set myself the challenge of finding myself a husband by the time I was 50. Over the following two years, I met more than 125 different men in 10 countries. So I've walked in your shoes, through all the ups and downs of dating, in my own search for 'The One.'
But it was worth it! In the end, I was successful - I found and married my ideal partner. And we're still living happily ever after.
My clients range from 25 to 70 and span many professions - bankers, business leaders, doctors, life coaches, property developers, personal assistants, psychologists... Many found someone special even sooner than expected - some after only one session. Most say their social diary has improved dramatically. They're meeting more interesting people, and certainly having a lot more fun. Here are some success stories and testimonials.
I've also been featured in national media including the BBC, The Daily Mirror, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Record, The Guardian, Psychologies, STV and The Sunday Times.
